Portable / Pocket Pool Cue Holder

Sick of your cue sliding off the table when you go to the toilet or grab a drink from the bar? So were we lol.

A couple of the regulars at our local pool hall have these beautiful hand made mini pool table ones with rod holders on them. Although they look awesome, they are quite large and bulky to move around, but did however inspire us to design something that is both portable and functional. A few prototypes later and we're now very happy with the result and actually selling them via our website and to the same pool hall regularss for up to $20AU a pop.

THEY DO NEED SOME WEIGHT IN THEM I've designed these to to take 3x 50mm Mudguard Washers (image above) but you can load up the cavity with lead sinkers or buck shot/ball bearings if you dont mind the rattle effect. I have paused the print profile at the exact layer required to add this weight if it helps also.

NON SLIP PADS Optional but highly recommended. I tried making some out of TPU but they still moved around a bit with the weight of the Pool Cue. The round ones and longer rectangle ones I found in Bunnings (our largest hardware chain for you international peeps) and they were pretty cheap for a pack of 12 or so. They're self adhesive and work perfectly at securing the device to the table with zero slippage

- Recommend PETG but have also printed successfully in PLA

- 42g of filament

- 1.5 hours print time

- Automatic pause programmed for weight addition

- Perfectly portable, can be easily carried in a pocket or bag
