PORT 3 - Cable & Adapter Desk Valet
por JLJ_Designs en Cults3D
Give small adapters and loose cable ends a place on your desk. PORT 3 combines three front wells with a wider rear bay. Open channels let you lay cords in from above; rounded pocket corners, floor fillets and softened outer edges form one consistent single-piece design.

Sobre este modelo
Give small adapters and loose cable ends a place on your desk. PORT 3 combines three front wells with a wider rear bay. Open channels let you lay cords in from above; rounded pocket corners, floor fillets and softened outer edges form one consistent single-piece design.
Three nominal channel widths — 4.5, 6.5 and 8.5 mm — accommodate different cord sizes with appropriate clearance. This is loose storage, not a gripping clip. Check your actual cords and adapters; universal or named-brand compatibility is not claimed. A matching sizing coupon is included.
DIMENSIONS AND FILES
Tray: 152 x 92 x 23 mm. Coupon: 44 x 18 x 15 mm. Rear bay bounding size: 138 x 38 mm. Three front wells: 44 x 34 mm each. Pocket floors: 3 mm. Rounded corners and 2 mm floor fillets reduce the usable space for rigid rectangular items. Outer corner radius: 12 mm; pocket corner radius: 6 mm. No fasteners, glue joints or assembly are needed.
Two printable STL files, two matching STEP solids, editable CadQuery source, dimension/use diagram and printing instructions are included.
PRINTING
Print flat-base down as exported. Suggested starting point: PLA for indoor room-temperature desk use, 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.20 mm layers including first layer, three walls, 15% gyroid, five top/bottom layers and supports disabled. Use your calibrated printer/material settings. A brim is optional if required by your setup, with additional bed clearance.
Reference PrusaSlicer 2.9.6 simulation: tray 6 h 49 min / 90.12 g; coupon 40 min 36 s / 7.12 g at PLA density 1.24 g/cm3. Both parts sliced without reported warnings on a simulated 180 x 180 mm bed, including the reference skirt. These are simulation estimates, not measured prints. Printer-specific G-code is not supplied.
USE
Set the tray on a flat desk. Lay flexible, undamaged cords into channels with clearance; do not force a large cord through a smaller opening. Store loose ends in the front wells and adapters in the rear bay. Loose storage does not resist pulling forces or guarantee a connector cannot slide out. This is a storage tray, not a powered charger, operating charger enclosure, cable clamp, strain relief or load-rated product.
VALIDATION AND DISCLOSURE
Digital checks covered valid single CAD solids, watertight/manifold meshes, winding, connected components, selected 3 mm pocket floors and reference slicing. There are no mating or moving components.
All product images are labelled direct CAD-mesh renders or dimension diagrams. Generic cords in the usage illustration are scene-only props, not supplied models or evidence of tested compatibility. Colours and surface finish are illustrative.
