Sobre este modelo
I've had this food dehydrator (or a similar one) for a while and have been using the model from @O. Johnson , and overall it has been amazing, and I had some ideas to improve the design so I decided to make a version to add some things that I was looking for! (I also borrowed some design language and dimensions, be sure to give him some love too!)
First off, now the dryer is able to hold up to 3 upright spools of filament instead of just 1 due to the added height. I have also made a set of rollers that fits inside the dehumidifier and holds 2 spools while drying. The reason for the roller is that I made a modification to one of the wall segments to fit PC4-M10 fittings to allow for direct feeding of both spools from the dehumidifier into the printer/printer(s)! I have also modeled another different wall segment to allow for a standard round hygrometer to be installed to give live updates on temperature and humidity level.
All of the designs I have used for this project are included in the .zip folder on this model, and include F3D, STL, STEP, and 3MF files to allow for the most usage. If you do decide to use these models and possibly make some upgrades/changes, all that I ask is that you tag/reference me :)
Be sure to print in a heat resistant filament, NOT PLA!! I used PETG for mine and it's working great, but ABS and ASA should work with some tinkering of profiles.
BOM:
Rollers: 8x 608 Bearings (Can print) Hygrometer Wall: 1x Round Hygrometer PC4-M10 Wall: 2x PC4-M10 Fittings (Possibly can print, have not tested)
If there are any changes that need to be made or modifications/additions that are wanted, let me know and I will do my best to make them happen!
