The Sound Cups are designed for the Pimax Dream Air. They channel sound from the speakers in the headband directly into the ear cups and to the ears. This allows for a significantly more nuanced auditory experience. At the same time, the sounds produced are muffled for bystanders. The effect is very similar to cupping your palms over both the headband speakers and your ears while sound is playing. AI helped me create the images to document how the system works.
