Sobre este modelo

Panther II was a planned upgrade to the regular Panther intended to have heavier armour and was going to feature standardized parts between itself and the King Tiger. Only one prototype was ever built and it actually never officially had a turret, however when it was captured a Panther G turret was put on top of it. The turret I used for my model (the Schmalturm) isn't the turret that Germany planned for it, nor is the Panther G turret that the real life prototype has. Germany designed a different turret, called the Schmale Blendenausfuhrung (Turm Panther II) , However none were built. The Schmalturm I put on my Panther is not accurate, it wouldn't even be able to mount the 88 mm KwK 43 L/70 gun, but I really prefer the way it looks over the it's actual planned turret. At some point in the future I might add the planned turret. I made this model in Tinkercad, hull is modeled from scratch, turret is mostly unaltered from PitMath's Panther II: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5945423. I just redid the hull because theirs uses a Panther G hull, which has a different roadwheel layout than the Panther II, as well as being slightly shorter. It's a very small difference that most people probably wouldn't care about but it bothered me. I know its silly to get bothered by an inaccurate hull while purposely keeping an inaccurate turret, but I don't like the way the planned turret looked so much that I did it this way Instead. Model is 1:100. Tinkercad is just refusing to let me add any remix sources for whatever reason, but again, here's the link to the source file for the turret: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5945423 Word of Warning: I haven't printed this yet, so I don't know exactly How it will come out. It should be fine, but if issues arise I will edit them.
