This design is PRINT IN PLACE. You can just take it off your printer and begin shaping it!
This piece of art would look amazing with 2 or 3 (or even more!) sheets stacked on top each other, forming an eye catching sculpture when the lamp is off.. and a brilliant lamp when lit up.
Pictured is one printed sheet. I cant justify using up anymore filament on this project given that i do not have the kit to build the lamp itself.
I had alot of fun with this design, playing around with print-in-place hinges and such. Its quite fun to just play with even if you dont use it as a lamp shade. You could even scale it down (within reason, given the hinge situation) to form an interesting fidgeting toy!
