This is a glasses case that doubles as a night light. The slim body holds your glasses. A fold-out light flap with an 8-LED ring lets it work as a bedside lamp. The flap folds away when you aren't using the light. It consist of : a hinged flap, a lidded storage body, and a separate battery compartment. All of it can be 3D printed. Overall size: about 5.5 × 9.5 × 20 cm, with the flap extended and the battery area attached. Parts (print all independently) - Main Body: the tall case, about 5.5 × 5 × 15 cm. Your glasses go inside. The front has a column of five hexagonal windows, and the back has small holding features for the light flap. A slot at the back passes the LED wiring down into the case.
- Main Body Lid: a sleeve-style cap, about 5.5 × 4.5 × 3.3 cm, that slides over the top of the case.
- Battery Area Lid: a shallow open tray, about 5.5 × 4.5 × 1 cm. It holds the LiPo battery and the switch, and it connects to the case through the wiring slot.
- Light Flap: a thin plate, about 4.8 × 5 × 0.5 cm, that fits into the holding features on the back of the body. It is built around a WS2812B 8-LED ring (about 2.7 cm across), which is glued to its underside so the light shines downward.

Assembly - Print all four parts separately.
- Glue the WS2812B ring to the underside of the light flap.
- Solder the wires to the ring.
- Feed the wires through the slot on the back of the main body, down into the case, and through to the battery compartment.
- Connect the wires to the switch and the LiPo battery.
- Fit the light flap into the holding features at the back of the body.
- Place the battery and switch in the battery area and close it with the Battery Area Lid.
- Slide the Main Body Lid onto the top of the case.
Notes - The flap is designed specifically for the WS2812B 8-LED ring. Other rings may not fit.
