Nativity Fisherman - Paintable Seated Figure | Separate Rod

A seated fisherman for a painted Nativity village or a riverside diorama. Broad clothing folds, sculpted hair and beard, a small leather pouch and a rock seat give you distinct areas to paint. The figure has an integrated base; the fishing rod prints separately in a flat orientation. SIZE AND PARTS Figure: 34.0 x 31.43 x 68.88 mm. Base footprint: 34 x 28 mm. Separate rod: 82.5 x 9.34 x 3.20 mm. The seated pose uses an 85 mm standing-human reference; its actual printed height is about 69 mm. PRINTING Print the figure upright on its base and the rod flat. Digital checks used PLA, a 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.16 mm layers. Conventional snug supports gave the preferred body result. The rod also has a few small underside support pads in the checked setup. Use your own printer profile, centre the parts with room for supports, and inspect the preview before printing. A reference estimate for both parts is about 20 g and 2 h 44 min, including the supports generated in the generic setup. Re-slice for your machine; material use and time will vary. ASSEMBLY AND PAINTING Remove supports carefully, including those inside the small blind socket in the hands. Clean that socket before trying the rod. Test the fit before painting, leave the collar clear of the hand and do not force it inward. Once the fit is confirmed, secure your preferred position if needed. The colour guide gives a suggested eight-zone palette; print in one colour and paint after cleanup. VERIFICATION STATUS The meshes, assembly geometry and generated print paths have been checked digitally. This model has not yet been physically printed or test-fitted. Support removal from the hand socket remains an important real-world check. Very fine fingertip and face details may soften with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Images show the digital model and suggested colours.
