Sobre este modelo

A detailed steel truss billboard in N scale (1:160), the classic twin-post kind you see along highways, rail lines and the edge of town. The sign face has a smooth 90 × 30 mm artwork bay framed by riveted trim, with weather returns along the top and bottom. Behind it is a fully braced steel structure: twin I-beam posts, C-channels, ribs, X-bracing and knee braces, all sitting on two concrete footings. A slatted service catwalk runs across the front on cantilever brackets, with an access ladder at the right end. The safety railings are separate parts, so you can build it with full guards, end guards only, an outer rail only, or none at all. Size - Artwork area: 90 × 30 mm (about 48 × 16 scale ft) - Assembled: 96 × 65 × 18.3 mm (about 34 scale ft tall)

Features - Riveted sign-face trim with splice plates and corner gussets - Twin I-beam posts with clamp plates, fishplate seams and base plates - Rear truss with ribs, Z-diagonals and X-bracing - Open slatted catwalk with slots that go all the way through - Access ladder with grab rails and mounting straps - Concrete footings with anchor bolts and sockets for the posts - No floodlights, for a clean modern look

What's Included (13 STLs + source) Kit Parts (laid flat for printing) - Sign face with 90 × 30 mm artwork bay - Rear truss and front deck support - Slatted front service platform - Four front cantilever brackets - Front access ladder - Two concrete footings

Optional Railings - Front platform end guards, as a pair - A single end guard, if you only want one end - Outer front railing, with an opening at the ladder

One-Piece Assembled Versions - No railings - End railings only - Outer railing only - Both railing types

Artwork Print any ad at 90 × 30 mm and glue it into the artwork bay. Old-school ads, local businesses, fictional brands, or blank and peeling for an abandoned sign all work. Assembly - Glue the posts of the rear structure into the footing sockets. - Add the four cantilever brackets, then set the slatted platform on top. - Add the ladder at the right end. - Add whichever railings you want, or skip them.

Print Settings - Printer: made for resin (MSLA/DLP). The slats, ladder and railings are very fine. - Layer height: 0.03–0.05 mm - Orientation: the kit parts are laid flat, and the footings print upright - Supports: light or micro supports. Angle the flat parts if your slicer suggests it. - Tip: the one-piece versions are the quickest build. The kit parts are easier to paint section by section.

Painting Tip Paint the steel dark gray or galvanized gray with rust at the bolts, seams and post bases. Use concrete gray for the footings, with dirt and weeds around them. A light gray wash brings out the rivets on the face trim. Please post a make if you print it. I'd love to see what ads you put on yours!
