Sobre este modelo
A 20 ft shipping container converted into a site office, in N scale (1:160). It's the kind of office you see in scrapyards, junkyards, construction sites, truck terminals and industrial lots. It has corrugated container walls and roof, a cut-in office door with a window opening, front and end windows, a small metal awning over the door, a wall-mounted AC unit and steel entrance steps. Size - Container: 38.0 × 15.7 × 16.2 mm, a true 20 × 8 × 8.5 ft container at 1:160 - Assembled: 38.9 × 18.3 × 17.3 mm, with roof, awning and steps
What's Included (8 parts) - Wall shell, open top and bottom - Corrugated roof - Office door with window opening - Front window frame - End window frame - Metal door awning - Wall-mounted AC unit - Entrance steps
Assembly - Glue the roof onto the open top of the wall shell. - Add the door and the front and end window frames. - Add the awning above the door, the AC unit on the side wall, and the steps at the door.
Because the shell is open, you can add interior lighting or clear glazing before the roof goes on. A scrap of clear plastic behind the door and window frames makes convincing glass. Print Settings - Printer: made for resin (MSLA/DLP) - Layer height: 0.03–0.05 mm - Supports: light or micro supports. Angle the wall shell and roof 30–45° to keep the corrugation crisp. - Tip: the small parts (awning, AC unit, steps) are tiny, so print a few spares
Painting Tip Use classic container colors, like faded red, blue, green or tan, with heavy rust streaks running down the corrugation and around the cut-in door and windows. Paint the AC unit off-white with a dirty grille, and the steps rusty steel. Add a small company sign or graffiti for character. Please post a make if you print it. I'd love to see it in your scrapyard!
