Sobre este modelo
A three-bay open-front lumber storage shed in N scale (1:160) for lumber yards, sawmills, building supply dealers and team tracks. The front is open between braced posts so the stacked lumber inside shows, and the back is a closed board wall. A corrugated metal gable roof covers it all. One gable end is closed. The other is open, with a two-tier rack for long stock. Four lumber bundles are included to fill it up. Size - Assembled: 117.8 × 64.0 × 42.8 mm (about 62 × 34 scale ft, 22 ft tall) - Fits nicely along a siding or in the corner of a lumber yard
What's Included (12 parts) Structure - Front three-bay frame with knee-braced posts - Rear board wall - Left closed gable - Right open gable - Front and rear corrugated roof panels - Roof ridge flashing
Detail - Two-tier lumber rack - Lumber bundle: long boards - Lumber bundle: 4x4s - Lumber bundle: planks - Lumber bundle: sheet goods
Files - parts: every part in its assembled position, useful for checking fit or orienting it yourself - print_oriented: the same 12 parts already turned for printing. The walls and gables lie flat, and the roof panels stand angled up to protect the corrugation.
Assembly - Glue the front frame and rear wall between the two gables. - Add the two roof panels, then cap the ridge with the flashing. - Glue the lumber rack inside the open gable end and set the bundles in the bays. Leave the bundles loose if you'd like to move them or use them as flatcar loads.
CA or plastic glue works well. Print Settings - Printer: made for resin (MSLA/DLP) - Layer height: 0.03–0.05 mm - Supports: light or micro supports. Use the print_oriented files as a starting point. - Tip: the roof panels are the most likely to warp, so let them cure fully before gluing
Painting Tip Weathered gray or green for the frame and walls, galvanized gray with rust streaks on the roof, and a mix of fresh tan and grayed-out wood on the lumber bundles. A dark wash between the boards on the rear wall and a little grime on the post bases finish it off. Please post a make if you print it. I'd love to see your lumber yards!
