Sobre este modelo
A rustic log cabin in N scale (1:160), right at home in Alaska, the Rockies, the north woods or anywhere along a mountain line. It has stacked log walls with notched corners and protruding log ends, a standing-seam metal gable roof, a fieldstone chimney with an open flue, and a full-width covered front porch with deck boards, stairs, turned posts and railings. Size - Cabin: 53.4 × 39.1 mm (about 28 × 20 scale ft) - Assembled with porch: 53.7 × 58.8 mm footprint - Height to chimney top: 41.5 mm (about 22 scale ft)
What's Included (6 parts) - Cabin shell: log walls with notched corners, windows and door - Gabled metal roof: standing-seam roof - Porch deck and stairs: plank deck with steps at the front - Porch posts and railings - Porch canopy: metal shed roof over the porch - Natural stone chimney: fieldstone, with an open flue at the top
Assembly - Glue the roof onto the cabin shell. - Fit the stone chimney against the end wall. - Glue the porch deck to the front of the cabin, then add the posts and railings. - Set the porch canopy on top of the posts, tucked under the main roof edge.
Print Settings - Printer: made for resin (MSLA/DLP) - Layer height: 0.03–0.05 mm. Use 0.03 mm for the best log and stone texture. - Supports: light or micro supports. Angle the shell and roof 30–45° to avoid suction and keep detail crisp. - Tip: the porch posts and railings are thin, so give them a few extra supports and handle them carefully after curing
Painting Tip Paint the logs a warm brown with a darker wash in the gaps, then dry-brush a lighter tan on the log ends. Use weathered dark gray or barn red for the roofs, and gray and tan for the chimney stones with a little soot at the top. Add a dusting of snow on the roof and porch for a winter scene. Please post a make if you print it. I'd love to see it on your layout!
