Motorized Electric Slider

This slider project arose from a completely different ... I was assembling a new Laser Engraver TWO TREES® TOTEM S provided by Banggood. After that I decided to modify it and of course I started filming a video about the whole process in order to share this news with you. In the process of shooting, the idea of passes and rolls arose, and since the FIMI PALM stabilizer had just arrived, I decided to make a slider. But that's not all, the slider needed a mount for the stabilizer, since the finished one that was ordered had not yet arrived. Actually, I had to do three projects at once. Next week there will be a video about the laser and its modifications.

The electronics of the project is also still in development, and what is shown in the video is just a prototype. When I'm finished, I'll add the board and the entire BOM parts list to this project. From the list, what is already clear is a potentiometer and a battery. Other details will be provided after testing the working scheme.

However, there are already a lot of ready-made sliders for sale, but I was interested in implementing my own project. I still make the electronics a simple, ordinary PWM regulator, an averse / reverse and shutdown button, but if the project is popular and will interest the audience, then it will be possible to implement a radio-controlled circuit.
