Sobre este modelo

♻️ Modular Parts for Spool Core Containers Reuse filament spool cores as containers with modular 3D printed parts, even repurpose a Huggies wet wipe lid. ✨ Features

- Modular by design: All parts connect to the cardboard core using the same part, easy to create new parts and switch parts.

- Stackable connectors: A dedicated connector joins two cores together, allowing vertical expansion by connecting multiple cores.

- Glue optional: The printed parts use a pressure-fit design to grip the cardboard core. No glue required, easy to take apart for recycling. Though glue can be added for a more permanent assembly.

- Repurposed Huggies lid: Even more recycling, the design accommodates a Huggies wet wipe lid as an alternative container lid.

📝 A few notes

- The edge piece is designed for Bambu Lab cardboard filament spool cores with an 89 mm outer diameter and 3 mm wall thickness.

- Please check your core dimensions before printing, as I've noticed that some Bambu Lab spools have slightly different diameters and wall thicknesses. I don't have those variations on hand at the moment to create properly sized versions.

- The goal is to keep the locking mechanism size consistent across different core sizes, so parts can remain interchangeable even when the cardboard cores have slightly different dimensions. This should make it possible to mix and match components regardless of core size.

- Two connector thicknesses are included, offering different levels of resistance when twisting to unlock.

If you print one, I'd love to see how you use it, especially if you come up with some creative new parts!

Happy printing and upcycling! ♻️
