Sobre este modelo
This is an upgrade for users of MMU and who has (un)original drybox (also works with the Slim version). This system replaces the filament buffers. It's a project in development that I try to improve with the time, thanks for your understanding. And thanks for your support 😉
I thinking this project to be the most useful possible : - Easy access for changing your spools - Auto rewinder because it's a most elegants solution than the buffer (personal opinion 😉) - Shorty path as possible to avoid a maximum of friction - Preservation of the opening from above for mmu maintenance
- Beam A1 mod and Beam A2 mod :
Those parts replace back parts Bean A1 A2 on the (un)original drybox.
- There are 5 spool with auto-rewinding remix (Original by Jim Nangano ) - New guide ptfe in the drybox systeme (made by myself)
PTFE connector for MMU3 owner : For my full MMU systeme (with the two link in the bottom) you need some PTFE tubes : The MMU3 come with (10 X 60 cm PTFE) tubes so I created this connector for use them, the clips used for maintain the ptfe tubes come also with the MMU3.
If you don't use a MMU3 kit you need about 4 meters ID=2,5mm OD=4mm : (These size are with a slack ) - 2 X 85 cm - 2 X 80 cm - 1 X 70 cm
I advice to buy 5 meters to be sure and cut off the excess once installed.
You needed some non printable parts : - screw M3x10 X20 - 608 bearings X10
Be careful to build correctly your rewinder, the axle must be placed last. Put it in starting by the lid like on the bottom photo. ( thanks to @HonzaJaros_1717380 for help with this issue)
All parts were printed with PETG Prusament during testing. Print the rewinder system in ASA if you use the heater for (un)original drybox.
I also do a fixation for the (un)original drybox on the Prusa enclosure : https://www.printables.com/model/702384-fixation-for-unoriginal-prusa-drybox-on-the-prusa- Fixation for Core One : https://www.printables.com/model/1375957-unoriginal-holder-for-core-one Pass Ptfe on the top of enclosure : https://www.printables.com/model/702362-guide-ptfe-mmu-top-on-prusa-enclosure
You can look at this complet guide created by FuseFox Design to build the system: https://www.printables.com/model/1126694-fusebox-build-guide-mk4s-wmmu3
