Sobre este modelo
Boost MeThis model took weeks of design, prototyping and test printing. If you enjoy this project, a boost is the best way to support my work and help me create more original printable designs. Flexi Mandrake Pull-Up Planter
A fully 3D-printed NO AMS Mandrake that lives hidden inside its pot. Hold the pot, grab the trunk and pull: the Mandrake rises out of the soil with flexible arms, legs and dangling roots. Lower it back and only the leaves stay visible: a quiet little houseplant on your desk, with a little magic hidden inside.
Easy Assembly without glue The trunk screws into the Mandrake with a threaded connection. The fronds print flat and close with an integral tongue and slot, then plug into the trunk with a three-leaf pin. The soil insert locks into the pot with a bayonet connection and a small locking pin.
A full illustrated assembly manual is included: an 8-page PDF covering every step. You can find it in the Documentation section below.
UPDATES - 07/10/2026
- New Soil V2, much easier insertion: added a separate print profile with a reworked soil insert. The opening is wider on one side, so the Mandrake now slides straight in, no more diagonal insertion. The only trade-off is a small visible gap in the dirt next to the doors. Soil V1 is still included in the full kit and works perfectly if you prefer the cleaner look.
