Sobre este modelo
I wanted easier access to the electronics, to make hotend swaps quicker when switching between the HT and regular hotend.
The cover uses disk magnets, and the fit for the magnets is quite tight, I used pliers to force them into the opening. I used 2-3 magnets on each side, pushing in one at a time. Let me know if you need a model for a magnet diameter that's not available. The original model uses 5 mm magnets, I also added a version for the 6 mm magnets that are commonly used for Gridfinity base plates. The part holding the magnets is fastened by re-using the M3 from the original cover. Should work with the Core ONE+ and Core ONE+ Gen 2. Magnets - 5 mm or 6 mm disc magnets up to 5 mm thick.
- Fit is tight, use pliers.
- If you have thin magnets, you can use multiple magnets.
- Do not insert magnets over the screw hole.
Print instructions - Use a heat resistant filament. The original part is PCCF, if you want a stock appearance.
- 3 perimeters
- 0.15 mm layer height
