Long Paper Roll Holder for Sy's Peglock System

My wife requested we find a way to hang large butcher paper and wrapping paper rolls without making it too hard to swap them out. I knew dowel rods were the best way to hold the roll, so I designed these ends to hold the dowel with threaded end caps that can be removed to quickly swap the roll out kind of like a toilet paper roll. The end caps are designed to work with 3/4" dowel rods, and are oversized a bit to allow the rod to spin freely in case the paper roll on the dowel has a bit of friction. Hex pattern cut out to reduce material usage. I printed mine out of PETG but I don't see why PLA or any other material wouldn't work just fine. I printed with the threaded side face up. Supports are really only needed for the Peglock adapter part of the end caps, I've printed with support blocker modifiers to reduce filament usage a bit more. Using 15% gyroid infill, 4 walls, 5 top/bottom layers, each set can be printed at around 125g, or about 8 sets per 1kg spool of filament. This model is designed to work with Sy's Peglock system, a universal mounting system for any pegboard type you have (wood, metal, plastic, skadis, etc.)
