Lithophane Pumpkins - spooky faces

This upload contains three pumpkin variants with spooky lithophane faces. The faces were generated using custom Python code that maps the images directly onto the pumpkin geometry, rather than onto a standard flat, cylindrical, or spherical surface. This allows the lithophanes to follow the pumpkin's irregular shape. Lighting and Assembly Two lighting options are supported: - LED tealight D37.2 × 36.6 mm

Both are readily available on Amazon, AliExpress, and similar shops. For the LED tealight, the light module must be removed from its plastic shell before assembly. Insert a thin object, such as a guitar pick, next to the switch and carefully pry out the module. The assembly video/GIF shows how this is done. The stem attaches using a bayonet lock, and the bottom cover uses the same system. Two different bottom covers are included, one for each lighting option. A small locking tool is also included to help tighten and remove the bottom cover. The assembly video/GIF demonstrates the full process. Print Details - Material: PLA

- Layer height: 0.2 mm

- Perimeters: 4 (recommended for the lithophane effect)

- Supports: Required inside the pumpkin and for the bayonet lock at the bottom and for the stem

Be aware that a considerable amount of internal support material is required, which can be difficult to remove. Files and Slicing I recommend using the provided 3MF file, which already includes support blockers to prevent unnecessary supports from being generated on the outside of the pumpkin. The 3MF file contains six plates: - Plate 1: Pumpkin with face variant 1

- Plate 3: Pumpkin with face variant 3

- Plates 4–5: Bottom covers for the two lighting options

- Plate 6: Stem (intended to be printed in a different color)
