Sobre este modelo

Linuron (C9H10Cl2N2O2, CAS 330-55-2) — a free educational 3D molecular model for teachers and students, by MolGod.org. Read the atoms directly: each sphere bears an engraved element symbol. At its heart, Linuron is built around one aromatic 6-membered ring. The model shows 25 bonds: 18 single, 1 double and 6 aromatic. Hand the model round and let students tally the engraved atoms: 9 C + 10 H + 2 Cl + 2 N + 2 O, 25 in total. Ask the class to locate the urea linkage (-N-CO-N-) and the two C-Cl bonds and name each one. A good fit for lessons on aromaticity and delocalised electrons, on the carbonyl group (C=O), as well as on organohalogen compounds and carbon-halogen bonds. Link the model to intermolecular forces through its hydrogen-bond capacity: 2 acceptors, 1 donor (computed). Teachers and students can use this MolGod.org model free of charge. Teachers: let students set the model beside a skeletal formula and list what the drawing omits. STL mesh: 336,820 triangles, closed (watertight) single solid. Coordinates in ångström (STL stores no unit) — scale the model deliberately in your slicer. Names in other languages: 利谷隆 (zh).
