Sobre este modelo
A modular desk name plate that you can re-spell in seconds. Drop-in letter tiles sit in a precision rail, so the same set works for your name, a job title, a team motto or a "HELLO ♥" greeting – plus a matching business card holder with its own short tile rail. Original design, two-colour friendly with a single filament change.
WHAT YOU GET
- Name Plate Base – 206 x 42 x 16 mm, fluted front, tile rail for 190.8 mm of tiles (e.g. "ALEX CARTER") and a pen trough behind the name
- Business Card Holder Base – 120 x 48 x 34 mm, 12° back-leaning card slot (about 40 cards, fits 85x55 EU and 89x51 US cards), finger notches in both end walls, rail for 6 tiles
- 44 letter tiles: A–Z, 0–9, & . - ' heart, star, 2 blank tiles and 2 half-width spacers
- Two ready-to-print tile plates (all tiles laid out face-up) + every tile as its own STL in a zip, so you can print extra copies of any letter
- README.txt with tile system, print settings and the filament-change height
SIZE
- Standard tile 17.7 x 28 x 6 mm (18 mm pitch), wide tiles for M and W (24 mm pitch), half spacer 9 mm pitch
- Letters 15 mm cap height, raised 1.2 mm (Inter Display Bold, SIL Open Font License; heart and star are original shapes)
- Tiles drop in: 3.6 mm tongue in a 4.1 mm groove (0.25 mm per side), 5.5 mm tongue in a 6.0 mm deep groove – the tile body rests flat on the base, so tiles stand straight and lift out easily
- Every tile was checked digitally in both rails: seated with 0 interference, 0.30 mm gap between neighbours, wobble limited to about 3°, cards and pen fit checked
PRINTING
- No supports for any part: 0 cm² of overhang above 45°, all meshes watertight
- Bases: print upright as exported, 0.2 mm layers, 3 walls, 15 % infill – about 60 g PLA each
- Tiles: print face-up (flat back on the bed). Add a filament change (pause / M600) at Z = 6.0 mm for coloured letters – ivory tiles with charcoal letters, or black tiles with gold letters. Both tile plates ~120 g
- The name plate needs a 206 mm bed (220 x 220 and larger)
- Tip: walnut or wood-fill PLA for the bases looks great on any desk
- Designed and checked digitally; not test-printed by the designer
