Sobre este modelo
A little autumn lamp shaped like a lantern pod 🍂✨
It's based on the papery husk of the physalis plant. Drop it over an LED tea light and the whole shell glows, while the veins show through darker, like a real husk held up to the light.
The veins are built into the inside of the wall, so the outside stays smooth and the veins only come alive once it's lit. No flame, nothing flammable, just a pod that glows 😅
Print Settings
PLA (white glows brightest) 0.4 nozzle 0.2 layer height (optional: 0.12 from 84 to 110 mm for a smoother roof) ⚠ Walls / perimeters: 5. The veins are made of extra wall lines. With fewer walls they print partly hollow and glow brighter instead of darker. 15% infill Outer brim, 5 mm (it's tall on a thin rim) No supports. Don't auto-orient: it's already the right way up. For the cleanest outside along the veins: Arachne wall generator Outer wall first Wipe while retracting: off (if your slicer has it) Retraction minimum travel: 3 mm
🔄 Filament Color Change
For a two-color print (white husk, tan stem), add a filament swap at 110 mm, exactly where the husk ends and the stem starts: Layer 550 with 0.2 mm layers Layer 637 with the 0.12 mm roof
Features ✅ No supports ✅ One piece, no glue or screws ✅ Just drop it over the tea light ✅ 4 vein styles: husk, branches, ribs or plain ✅ Fits standard LED tea lights (about 38 mm across)
LED tea lights only. Never use a real candle: PLA softens at about 60C.
