Language Pack for PlayBook'd Crosswords - 38 Languages

A free, fan-made language pack for PlayBook'd Crosswords. Print letter tiles for 38 languages, plus bonus squares that work for every language and a one-page rules sheet in each language.

You need the original game

This pack replaces only the tiles. The board, covers, spine and tile holders are part of PlayBook'd Crosswords by ForgeCore: PlayBook'd Crosswords on Prinnit. This is an unofficial add-on, not made or endorsed by ForgeCore. English tiles come with the original game, so English is not in this pack.

- 38 print projects (3MF), one per language: PlayBookd_Crosswords_LanguagePack_XX_A1_v1.3mf, where XX is the language code (ES = Spanish, DE = German, UK = Ukrainian ...)

- 38 rules sheets (PDF), one per language: PlayBookd_Crosswords_XX_rules_v1.pdf

Each 3MF has 5 plates: 1 plate of letter tiles and 4 plates of bonus squares (blue, green, orange, red). Download only the language you want - you do not need the other files.

Why a separate set for each language

A good word game needs the right letters in the right amounts. Each language here has its own letter list, tile counts and point values - from 100 to 120 tiles. Special letters such as Ñ, Ä, Ł, Ş or Þ have their own tiles where the language needs them.

Tile details

- 15 x 15 x 4 mm, the same size as the original tiles

- Letters are a second colour, 0.4 mm deep, printed face down - flat and they do not wear off

- Bonus squares show symbols, not words (1 square = letter bonus, 3 squares = word bonus, x2 / x3), so one set fits all languages

Questions

Do I need a multi-colour printer? Yes. The letters are colour inlays in the first layers, so a pause and manual colour change will not work.

Why are the covers still in English? The covers belong to the original design. This pack does not change or share the author's files.

I found a mistake in the rules. The rules were translated with AI help. Please leave a comment with the fix - updated files will come as v1.1, v1.2 and so on.
