Sobre este modelo
Custom under-headlight camera mounting adapter engineered specifically for the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT (Gen 1 / 2016–2018). The underside of the 1290 GT headlight mask features a pointed, convex V-arch with a forward rake. Sticking a flat camera mount leaves unsightly air gaps on the sides and risks flying off at highway speeds. This adapter converts the curved V-profile into a level, flat 46 × 30 mm mounting platform for your front dashcam. Custom-matched to the GRANDnavi MTDVR04 front motorcycle camera foot and red 3M high-bond adhesive pad, but compatible with any action camera or dashcam foot up to 36 × 24 mm. Key Features - Flush Contour Match: Matches the headlight's concave curve (R = 85 mm arch with 8° forward rake compensation) for 100% surface contact. - Diagonally Staggered Screw Pilot Holes: Specially offset (Y = ±4.5 mm) to clear the camera's central Allen hinge bolt. - Multi-Width Fitment: Pilot holes cover 25 mm, 29 mm, and 33 mm horizontal hole spans. - Bi-directional Symmetry: Symmetrical mirrored pilot holes allow mounting the camera facing forward or backward. - 100% Support-Free: Prints flat on the build plate (Z = 0) with zero supports required. - Fully Parametric: Included OpenSCAD source code allows tweaking every radius, angle, and hole position.
Hardware Required - 1x 3M High-Bond Double-Sided Foam Pad (36 × 24 mm). - 2x Small pointed self-tapping Phillips screws (included with MTDVR04 or M2 / M2.2 equivalent, 6–8 mm length).
Print Settings - Printer Brand: Creality - Printer: Ender 3 / Ender 3 V2 / Ender 3 Pro - Rafts: No - Supports: No (Prints flat on build plate) - Resolution: 0.20 mm (or 0.16 mm for smoother curves) - Infill: 40% – 50% (Gyroid or Cubic recommended; 15% is fine for PLA test fit) - Filament Material: PETG or ASA (Recommended for road use) / PLA (Fit-test prototype only)
Important Print Notes - Material Warning: Do NOT use standard PLA for permanent road use. The 1290 Super Duke GT radiator dumps hot air directly beneath the headlight mask. Summer road heat combined with radiator wash will cause PLA to soften and deform. Always use PETG (235–245°C) or ASA (for UV resistance). - Wall Thickness: Set 5 to 6 walls / perimeters (2.0–2.4 mm). This ensures the screw pilot holes are formed inside solid plastic sleeves rather than biting into hollow infill. - Orientation: Place the large flat bottom face directly on the print bed ($Z = 0$).
Post-Printing & KTM 12V Wiring Guide Mechanical Installation - Dry-fit the printed adapter to the underside nose of the headlight to confirm contour alignment. - Clean both the KTM headlight surface and the adapter face thoroughly with 90%+ Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA). - Apply 3M high-bond adhesive pad between the camera foot and adapter. - Drive the 2 self-tapping screws through the camera base into the staggered pilot holes (they clamp tightly into the solid perimeter plastic).
KTM 12V ACC Wiring (Behind Headlight Mask) Remove the front windscreen / mask screws to tilt the headlight forward and access the factory auxiliary ACC spade connectors: - Red Wire (Fused) ➔ KTM ACC1 (+) [Constant 12V — preserves clock and camera settings] - Yellow Wire ➔ KTM ACC2 (+) [Switched 12V — triggers auto-recording when key turns on] - Black Wire ➔ KTM ACC Ground (-) [Negative spade terminal]
