Sobre este modelo
first of all, id like to thank the original creator onu978 for the case as i definetly wouldnt be able to make such shapes. two versions of my backcase for the RAD01. 1st version has a smaller β- window and is little bit weaker. the 1st versions β- cover dimensions are 84.5x20x5mm, mine is a composite of HDPE, PTFE and aluminium foil. the 1st version is held together by tape, but the 2nd has a case for the materials. the 2nd version has a bigger β- cover (86.2x40x5mm) slot-altough the G-M tube is still the same size, this allows a single β- cover to have two presets of shielding electrons. mine consists of a MAX ⁓0.6MeV one that is just PETG and HDPE and a second one, the ⁓3.8MeV one, that consists of HDPE, PETG and ~1mm thick lead plate. these effective stopping energies have not been tested but they should work as intended. my backcase also removed the middle screw hole as my RAD01 doesnt have a screw hole in the middle and it would take up space.
