Jack-o'-Lantern Fridge Magnet

A ten-lobe carved pumpkin that sits on the fridge and holds a battery LED

tealight (standard Ø38 mm, up to 47 mm tall with the flame). The pumpkin has a

flat back with four 10 × 10 × 2 mm square magnets sealed inside it. Lift the stem lid

off and drop the tealight in from the top. The pumpkin stays on the fridge.

77 × 64 × 74 mm overall (width × depth off the fridge × height with the stem).

Materials

4 square neodymium block magnets, 10 × 10 × 2 mm (width × height × thickness). Buy square blocks, not round discs. The pockets are 10.2 × 10.2 × 2.2 mm; do not scale the model to fit another magnet size.

A small amount of superglue to hold each magnet during printing.

1 battery-powered flameless LED tealight, with a round white plastic base and plastic flame like the one shown below. Choose a base no larger than Ø38 mm and a total height, including the flame, no greater than 47 mm. Measure the flame as well as the base before buying. The photo does not identify a brand or battery type.

Orange filament for the body and lid; green for the optional separate stem. Allow about 93 g total filament before supports.

LED only: do not use a wax candle or an open flame.

Magnet guide

The four magnets are enclosed during printing, two at each pause listed below. Their broad 10 × 10 mm faces point toward the fridge; their 2 mm thickness runs through the back wall. Polarity does not matter against a steel fridge. Check that all four blocks fit before starting the print, and keep them below the top of each slot when resuming.

If you miss a pause, stop before the slot is sealed; the closed pocket cannot accept a magnet afterward. Do not drill into the finished back to expose the magnets.

Print

Print both parts as exported, with no rotation. The body needs no supports.

For the lid, enable normal supports inside the underside recess (build plate

only); remove them before fitting the lid.

Already printed the body? Reprint only the lid. Its underside has a

Ø39.5 × 3.2 mm recess, giving 47.6 mm total clearance above the candle floor.

The lid fits the existing body.
