Sobre este modelo
This is a remix of the Prusa IDX sensor body to use oversized 9mm ECAS fittings like you find on Amazon. Also includes printable numbers. I tried @Chris_Hill's model prusas-bondtech-indx-filament-sensor-body-remixed but the ECAS04 fittings I bought from Amazon didn't fit. I tried buying from a different vendor, but still through Amazon, and they didn't fit either. When I measured the cartridge with calipers, I found that the lip that holds it in place is almost 9.2mm, but spec is 8.1. From what I could find out, it seems that most, if not all ECAS04 press-in fittings on Amazon are oversized.
There was no way these oversized fittings would ever press into place so I made a new model. The design is for the fitting without the rubber part. Use the main body and the plastic retaining ring, but do not use the rubber part. The holes are tight, but you should be able to press the fittings in by hand. Just before they seat all the way, there is a ring that the lip will hook into.
My model is designed for press-in fittings on both sides, and no nylon sleeves. You can use fittings on sides, or only on the output. The internal geometry will guide the filament where the sleeves normally go. With tubes on both sides, I haven't had any issues feeding the filament. If only using tubes on the output side, reaming the end of the tube helps avoid any snags when inserting filament.
