IMPACT — Football Wall Headphone Holder

A touchdown for your headphones.

IMPACT turns a wall-mounted headphone hanger into a football seemingly frozen mid-impact. A chestnut football, raised ivory laces, two bold stripes and a fractured-plaster surround bring a little game-day energy to a desk, gaming corner or sports room.

The cracked surround is a printed decorative plate. It does not require breaking the wall; two screws secure the plate. The football slides onto an integrated dovetail. A shallow saddle on top provides a resting place for a headphone band.

ONE PROJECT, THREE PLATES Open IMPACT-All-Plates-X2D-v002.3mf as a project in Bambu Studio: • Plate 1 — ivory wall plate and its integrated mounting tongue. • Plate 2 — chestnut/ivory football, printed as ONE multicolor part with AMS. • Plate 3 — two small dovetail fit-test coupons. Print these first.

The assembled product has TWO printed parts. The two test coupons are not assembly components. The multicolor football has two material groups; these are not loose pieces to glue together. A single-color football STL is also included as an alternative. Do not print both football versions for one product.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE • One combined three-plate 3MF project for Bambu Lab X2D, 0.4 mm nozzle, PLA. • Six STL files: wall plate, single-color football, two aligned football color regions, and two fit coupons.

SIZE Wall plate: approximately 184.5 × 205.4 mm / 7.26 × 8.09 in. Total assembled projection from the wall: approximately 191.1 mm / 7.52 in. Football body envelope: approximately 128.6 × 132.3 × 177.1 mm. Wall screw spacing: 154 mm / 6.06 in vertically.

PRINTING START POINT The project contains PLA settings for a 0.4 mm nozzle: 0.20 mm layers, 5 walls, 20% gyroid infill, 6 top/bottom layers, and automatic TREE supports. Parts are arranged with their rear faces toward the bed. Confirm printer, filament mapping, supports and the full layer preview before printing. Owners of other printers should select their own machine and re-slice.

Use the fit coupons before the full-size parts. Remove support material from the open rear/bottom dovetail cavity before assembly. Do not force a tight joint. Two-color printing requires a compatible multicolor setup; the MONO STL offers a single-filament alternative.

MOUNTING Two suitable wall screws and, where needed, wall anchors are required and not included. Screw selection depends on the actual wall. The modeled keyhole entry supports a head up to 10 mm wide and a shank up to 4.5 mm; the internal head chamber is only 2.2 mm deep, so check the actual head shape. The ball is held by its gravity-loaded dovetail; it has no separate upward-pull lock. Lift headphones off without pulling the football upward. Headphones and room props shown in previews are not included.
