Sobre este modelo
I wanted a simple hollow knight face mask for Halloween / cosplay that can be easily taken off / moved to the side as opposed to the large head masks. I'm wearing this mask with a wig underneath, and with black fabric on the inside of the eyes, though black mesh would also work. There are holes on the sides so you can tie string or elastic cord to the mask. There are 2 versions of this mask - one that is smooth on the front, and a second that has a large crack that splits the mask in half. The cracked mask is still one piece, and the crack is only carved on the surface. The knight's mask cracks when it dies, so I wanted a partially cracked version of the mask to represent that. This model was created by me. I previously remixed a model to make a hollow knight mask, but wanted enough changes made that I re-made my own mask from scratch. Orientation - I printed the mask vertically so that there weren't any print lines on the center of the face. If you don't mind the lines or plan to sand / finish it, you could definitely print it horizontally / lying flat. Infill - I would recommend a very low infill to keep it lightweight. Supports - This model needs supports. I would recommend printing it upright and painting on supports. The areas it needs it in this orientation are on the tops of the eye holes, the top of the head, and a little bit at the very bottom of the mask. I cut off the horns and printed them flat so they did not need supports. The holes for the string / elastic on the sides are diamonds, so you should not need supports inside of those. Scale - The full model is around 12 inches. Feel free to resize as needed. You need quite a large printer to print it at full scale, so you might also want to cut it so that the horns are separate pieces.
