HO Scale Locomotive GPS Dome — 1:87 Small details can make a big difference! This GPS dome adds a modern roof detail to an HO scale locomotive, making it a simple upgrade for a model train customization project. For my model train mods competition entry, this model was resized from my O scale (1:48) file to HO scale (1:87). It features a low-profile enclosure and a flat mounting base, all in one piece. Printing & Installation Print at 100% scale with the flat base on the print bed. Use fine layer settings to capture the rounded edges, and preview the part in your slicer before printing. Once printed, clean up the part, paint it to suit your locomotive, and glue it onto a suitable roof location. Check your locomotive’s roof space before mounting, since layouts and existing details vary. The blue color in the installation illustration highlights the GPS dome and its placement.
