Sobre este modelo
I have way too many headphone and thus way too many headphone holders. I have run out of places to put the holders without them simply looking trashy. I had this one shelf mounting bracket with a 30 degree angle that I had already been storing my yard sticks on and mounting lights to. I figured I could design a mount to hold the headphones further away from the wall. As all the mounting points are so far away, I figured it would be more economical to use a dowel rod then to engineer a fully 3D printed solution. The hanger itself is designed to use as few supports as possible while still being able to securely grip the dowel and not swing back and forth while hanging. It took a lot of tinkering, but I am happy with the result. I I tested hanging an 8bitdo controller on it and it was surprisingly stable despite the controller not fitting the geometry. It may be worth exploring controller and VR specific mounts in the future. One iteration I would like to add is a hook on the back of the hanger to hold cables for sets that have hardwired solutions. My mounting point was surprisingly spot on on the first version. I guessed the 30 degree slope by eye and got the mounting point for the dowels to have a satisfying snap in place. The back of the mount has a flat base for a better place to hold rulers and yardsticks. If you need to modify the geometry, here are my janky project files: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/4XVFnNorUlB-dowel-rod-hook?sharecode=nwjMstVx5wEzBAVOjOVFrxZByR0X6LJqX6vLz7_5f5E
