Improvements Version 2 is a redesign with the feedback I've received on version 1 over the past year. Some of the improvements made are: - Back plane support (28mm, 29mm or 30mm)

- Hot-swap snap fit, as opposed to the heat set insert mount of V1.

- Improved case mounting versatility

- Improved rigidity and strength for the case

- Better tolerance of the caddies

- Mounting points for 2.5" drives

- Better supports when printing the caddy

Info A compact hard drive cage for 3.5" drives that will fit most cases. Supports back planes with a space between drives of 28, 29 or 30 millimeters. If you don't plan on using a back plane, I recommend printing the 30mm version as this one has the best airflow. Can be mounted to 120mm fan rails, 140mm fan slots or 140 mm fan rails. When mounting the cage to your case I recommend installing rubber washers between the cage and the case to reduce vibrations and noise. Printing Recommended to print using PETG or ABS or another material that can handle some heat. Print all files in the given orientation. No supports necessary except for the support provided. Sizes Footprint: With caddy: 136.5mm (w) x 167.5mm (d) Without caddy: 136.5mm (w) x 156mm (d) Height: Varies a lot between pitch and number of bays, please check in your slicer. Hardware - 4-6x #6-32 6mm screw (for mounting the drive to the caddy)
