This fixture turns a Pittsburgh Tools 6" Digital Caliper into a simple gauge for calibrating CNC axis travel. The caliper fits snugly in the holder, and the pressure plate clamps it securely in place using four M4 bolts. The holder can then be attached to the machine with zip ties, making it quick to install and remove without modifying the CNC. The bracket is designed to keep the caliper square to the machine axis while the depth rod references a flat surface, allowing you to compare commanded travel against actual travel and fine-tune your steps-per-unit settings. Tested for Z-axis calibration, but the same setup could be adapted for X or Y depending on how the holder is mounted.
