Sobre este modelo
Spooky Jack-o'-Lantern with Lid – LED Pumpkin Lamp A classic carved Halloween pumpkin with an angry face, made for 3D printing. It has two parts: a hollow body and a lid with a twisted stem. Put an LED tealight inside, close the lid and the light shines through the eyes, nose and jagged grin. Both parts print without supports. Features - Two parts: the body and the lid. A standard LED tealight (Ø 38 mm) goes in through the top opening.
- Self-centering lid: the joint is a 45° cone, so the lid drops into place and sits straight. The clearance is about 0.4 mm.
- No supports needed: - The inside of the body has no overhang steeper than 45°.
- All face openings have arched or short bridged top edges, and no tooth hangs in mid-air.
- The lid prints standing on its flat bottom.
- Thin 1.6 mm walls, which is exactly 4 lines with a 0.4 mm nozzle. This saves filament and lets more light through.
- Flat, stable base about 68 mm across.
Dimensions Part Size
Body 103 × 104 × 73 mm
Lid with stem 71 × 71 × 41 mm
Assembled approx. 103 × 104 × 105 mm
Top opening approx. Ø 70 mm
Print settings - Material: PLA. Orange glows nicely, and translucent orange looks even better.
- Layer height: 0.2 mm. Use 0.12–0.16 mm for smoother curves.
- Orientation: print both parts as they come in the files, the body upright and the lid on its flat bottom.
- Supports: none.
Body - 2 walls (perimeters), which fill the 1.6 mm wall completely.
- 3–4 bottom layers.
Lid - 2 walls.
- 8–10 % infill, preferably Lightning. It supports only the domed top surface, which is all the lid needs.
- 4 top layers and 3 bottom layers.
Filament: about 65 g in total. The exact amount depends on your slicer settings. Assembly - Place an LED tealight (Ø 38 mm, battery powered) on the floor inside the body.
- Put the lid on. It centers itself.
Use LED lights only. Do not use a real candle in a plastic lantern.

The model was designed in Blender as a parametric Python script. Wall thickness, lid clearance and the size of the base can all be changed in the script.
