This is a simple lid attachment for the Gu desert pots commonly available in the UK (I'm sure they're available internationally but I'm unsure if the design is the same across different markets).
This cellar was inspired by the one used by the celebrity chef Alton Brown and whilst you can find similar for sale in the UK most (all I've seen) have a cut-out for a spoon, leaving your salt exposed to the elements.
Easy one handed opening using the attached handle.
This attachment clips into the indent in the Gu pot and uses a strand of 1.75mm filament as both a hinge and to attach the moving lid.
