Gridfinity Ultra Light Bin Generator Online

Check out the Gridfinity Ultra-Light Bin System. With so much to print in the Gridfinity universe, this system helps you save time, filament and money, allowing you to print even more Gridfinity stuff... It all started with the Gridfinity Lite Bins from Jake. But I thought maybe they could be even lighter without losing stability. So, I redesigned them from the ground up and achieved an ultra-light version of it that is not a flimsy as a vase mode bin. And now here it is: The Gridfinit Ultra-Light Bin System with dividers and labels. If you encounter any issues when printing the bins or need a size that is not available, please feel free to let me know. I will either fix the error or upload the missing parts. Happy printing :)

Plain Edition Noting else, just plain bins

Plain Label Edition Plain bins with labels

Divider Edition Same lightweight boxes, but with dividers

Plain Half Grid Edition Ultra light half grid version

Plain Label Half Grid Edition Ultra light half grid version with labels

Gridfinity Ultra Light Bin Generator A OpenSCAD file to create your own Gridfinity Ultra Light Bin

How to find your bin The first two numbers indicate the grids in the X and Y directions. One grid is 42 x 42 mm. A half grid is 21 x 21 mm. So, for example, a 2x0,5x_ box would be 84 mm in the X direction and 21 mm in the Y direction. The third number indicates the height of a box. One height unit is 7 mm. On top of that height comes a lip with approximately 4.4 mm of height to stack the next box onto it. So, for example, a _x_x3 would be around about 25.4 mm high. If you want to know more, there is a very good website, where all the specifications are explained.
