Greek Key Amphora Urn - Lidded Terracotta Jar with Meander, Palmette, Laurel and Egg-and-Dart Bands

A museum-style amphora urn that brings the full vocabulary of classical Greek ornament to your shelf. The swelling terracotta body carries five raised bands, read from the foot up: a Greek key meander, a tall frieze of palmettes and lotus buds (the anthemion), a laurel garland, a second meander at the shoulder and an egg-and-dart moulding under the neck - all divided by half-round beads, just like the real vases.

Three parts:

- Amphora body (133 x 190 mm): closed bottom, 1.6 mm wall plus up to 1.7 mm raised relief, holds about 1.5 litres

- Pedestal foot (114 x 40 mm): moulded foot with a twist-lock socket

- Fluted dome lid (91 x 74 mm): 16 flutes, a skirt of classical dentils and a turned finial blended into the dome in one smooth piece - no visible joint. The lid sits in a V-groove on the rim

Twist-lock bayonet: 3 lugs under the amphora drop into the foot and lock with a 22 degree twist.

Print the body in terracotta and the foot and lid in black for the classic black-and-red look, or go full marble white for a neoclassical feel. Use it as a decorative urn, keepsake jar, biscuit or tea jar, or a vase for dried flowers. Everything prints without supports - the profile and the relief stay under 45 degrees, and the edges are smoothed.
