Sobre este modelo

I wanted to design a Halloween book nook that does more than just sit on a shelf—it also acts as a shadow projector lantern when you drop a standard LED tealight inside.
The diorama is built using four modular slide-in layers (a front Gothic stone archway with iron fence details, a middle graveyard layer with twisted trees, a back haunted crypt plate, and the main outer shell). When you place a standard 37-38mm LED tealight into the rear recess, the light shines through the layered silhouettes to create deep 3D parallax inside your bookshelf, while the bat and Gothic window cutouts on the top roof project shadows upward onto your shelf or wall.
Because the inner scenes slide into grooved channels inside the main box, the whole model prints cleanly without needing complex supports, and you can easily swap or paint each layer separately to get strong color contrast.
Files included (4 separate STL parts):
- 1_BookNook_Outer_Shell.stl (Main bookshelf housing with 38.5mm LED tealight slot and top shadow cutouts)
- 2_Front_Gothic_Arch_Frame.stl (Front stone arch and wrought-iron gate frame)
- 3_Mid_Layer_Twisted_Graveyard.stl (Middle depth layer with twisted branches and tombstones)
- 4_Back_Layer_Haunted_Crypt.stl (Rear perspective plate positioned in front of the LED light)
