Glow in the Dark Stars, Moons, Dragons + Zodiac

A full set of glow-in-the-dark wall decorations: stars, sparkles, moons, dragons, all 12 zodiac constellations, and two NFC tag pieces. I made them for the ceiling and walls of a tent hangout, but they work on any wall, ceiling or canopy. What's included

- Stars + sparkles: stars in 40, 55 and 70 mm, plus 40 and 50 mm sparkles

- Moons: cratered moon, rough-edge moon, moon with star cutouts, and a moon with hanging stars

- Dragons: flying dragon and wrapped dragon, each with a mirrored version

- Zodiac constellations: all 12, from Aries to Pisces, split over 7 plates

- NFC tag pieces: a 70 mm star (snooze icon) and a moon (tent icon), each with a pocket for an NFC sticker, plus glow star and moon pieces with blue star inlays

Print profiles

- All Plates (main): all 12 plates in one file, labeled by part and color

- Stars, Sparkles + Moons: 2 plates

- Dragons: 2 plates

- Zodiac Constellations: 7 plates

- NFC Tags + AMS Accents: 1 multicolor plate (needs an AMS)

Each plate name says which glow color it's set up for (gold or purple), so you can print one color at a time without swapping filament. The STLs are included too, numbered to match the plates. Print settings

- PLA (glow-in-the-dark PLA for everything except the black accents)

- 0.2 mm layers, 2 walls, 15% infill, no supports

- Glow filament is abrasive. Use a hardened steel nozzle if you print a lot of it.

- The constellation lines are only 2 mm wide. Peel them off the build plate slowly and don't bend them.

NFC tags The NFC star and moon have an internal pocket for a 25 mm round NTAG215 sticker. The print pauses at 1.8 mm: press the sticker flat into the pocket and resume. Write the tag with your phone after printing; it reads through the plastic. Mounting tips Before sticking anything:

- Wipe the back of each print with rubbing alcohol and let it dry.

- Press each piece on firmly for about 30 seconds.

- Give adhesive a full day before it has to hold weight.

What to use:

- Stars and sparkles: 1 Velcro dot each

- Moons: 2 Velcro dots, one near each end, so they don't spin

- Dragons: 2 or 3 small squares of industrial Velcro

- Zodiac constellations: a 1/2 in square of Velcro or tape on 2 or 3 of the biggest stars

- NFC tag pieces: 1 Velcro dot, somewhere you can reach to tap your phone

On fabric (tents, canopies), use Velcro rather than tape: fabric flexes and pulls tape loose. Don't use super glue or iron-on Velcro on fabric. Super glue is only for repairs, like a snapped dragon tail or a broken string on the hanging-stars moon. Charging the glow Glow filament charges from light. Leave the pieces in room light or shine a phone flashlight on them for a minute before bed.
