Sobre este modelo
This is a remix of the original gearbox design, modified to allow a pulley to be securely attached to the gearbox output shaft using a nut. A central bolt recess has been added to the pulley adapter so that the hexagonal bolt head sits inside the printed part. This helps prevent the bolt head from interfering with the gearbox shaft’s engagement with the gear, reducing the risk of slipping or losing proper contact. Notes from testing: During my initial gearbox tests, the gears experienced frequent sticking and jerky movement. After applying grease inside the gearbox housing, the mechanism ran much more smoothly. Recommendations: - Apply suitable grease to the gearbox gears and housing to improve smoothness. - For better strength and durability, I recommend printing this part in PETG or ABS rather than PLA.
This modification is intended to make mounting the output pulley more secure and improve the reliability of the assembly. Remix date: 12.01.2026
