Knock, knock. Who’s there? Gregor! Gregor the Gargoyle lost his head, but don’t worry, it’s going to good use! This is a scaled-up door knocker remix of the Gregor the Gargoyle statue from our “Fabled Creatures” collection. What better way to get in the Halloween spirit than a spooky gargoyle head on your front door? Very inviting. Three Versions - Print In Place: One piece, no assembly required!
- Separate Parts: Fits a wider range of printer beds, knocker swings smoother, and arguably looks better. (Requires M3 screws to attach the handle to the shaft that runs through the mouth.)
- XL Version!: Scaled up to fit the Prusa XL build volume (or similar sizes). No Print-In-Place version of this one. (M5 screws required to assemble the knocker.)
Fair warning: neither version is a very loud knocker. This one is more about looks than function. Files included - Print In Place Gargoyle Door Knocker STL

REDUCED files are smaller file sizes that are easier for less powerful computers to handle, but they give up some finer detail. Recommended print settings - 0.2mm max layer height (lower or variable preferred)
- 3 perimeters
- 10% Infill (Adaptive or Support Cubic recommended)
- Supports REQUIRED under the horns, ears, and knocker handle (see photos)
- Tree / Organic supports highly recommended
- ASA filament recommended for long term outdoor use.
