Sobre este modelo

Replace a missing or broken thumb nut on your garden hose nozzle with this 3D-printable replacement. I designed this nut with a scalloped outer edge for improved grip, making it easier to tighten and loosen by hand. The compact design includes an internally threaded hole and chamfered edges to help guide the nut onto the threaded stud. Features

- Scalloped edges for a comfortable grip.

- Internal threads for a screw-on fit.

- Compact 16 mm diameter and 9 mm height.

- Chamfered edges to help with installation.

- Two STL versions included, M6 and M8.

Available versions

- M6: 6 mm nominal thread diameter, 1.0 mm pitch.

- M8: 8 mm nominal thread diameter, 1.25 mm pitch.

Recommended print settings

- Material: PETG recommended for outdoor use.

- Layer height: 0.12 to 0.16 mm.

- Supports: Not required.

- Infill: 50% to 100%.

- Walls: 4 or more.

- Orientation: Print flat on the build plate.

Before printing Measure the diameter of your original threaded stud before choosing a version. Garden hose fittings sometimes use non-metric threads, so check the fit before applying force. These models are intended as replacement parts for compatible garden hose nozzles. Thread compatibility depends on your original fitting. Happy printing!
