Free ! The Snooze Button Sparrow - 120 mm

The little Java sparrow has the morning shift. Just as the alarm is about to ring, one foot lands on the snooze button. Five more minutes?

Let kids make a clock that tells their kind of time. Paint a slice of toast for breakfast, a red apple for snack time, or a crescent moon for bedtime. Sketch each shape lightly on the blank dial, then fill it in with a fine brush and a thin coat of acrylic. For more space, put your pictures on the clock case around the rim, as in the painted example. The hands and button are fixed parts of the sculpture.

For a speckled enamel clock case, dip a corner of a sponge into a lighter color, blot it on scrap paper, then tap around the sides. Acrylic craft paints or water-based miniature paints such as Citadel Colour or Vallejo Model Color work well. For a family painting session choose paints labeled for the child's age.

The bird and clock print together in one piece. The model measures 80.6 mm wide by 52.8 mm deep by 120.0 mm tall, including the base.

Slice-checked in Bambu Studio for a Bambu Lab P2S with a 0.4 mm nozzle and white PLA. Place the flat base on the build plate. The checked slice uses 0.16 mm layers, two walls, 15% infill and automatic snug supports with a 35-degree threshold and 0.30 mm XY clearance. Estimated print time is 2 h 46 min, using 78.56 g of PLA across 925 toolpath levels, including support-only levels. This version has yet to be test-printed.
