FREE 12-Watch Wall Display Case | 4-Part STL + Complete Build List

FREE DOWNLOAD — print your own wall-mounted watch display case. This is a simple 12-watch wall-mounted display case designed around readily available parts you can buy online. It holds 12 watches in a 3 × 4 layout, uses a clear acrylic front door, magnetic closure, standard watch pillows, and small external hinges.

I deliberately designed this to avoid the ridiculous 20-, 30-, or 40-piece assemblies that some large 3D prints require.

There are only FOUR printed parts: Main Housing — Lower Main Housing — Upper Acrylic Door — Lower Acrylic Door — Upper

Print them, join the two housing halves, join the two door halves, install the acrylic, magnets and hinges, and hang it.

The STL files are completely FREE.

IMPORTANT: The acrylic must be cut to size. Cut the insert to approximately: 235 × 363 mm 9.25" × 14.29" The 12" × 16" sheet gives you enough extra material to make the final cut.

Chalk paint + sealer can be a great option if you want to hide layer lines and give the finished case a more traditional display-cabinet appearance.

Wall mounting: designed for Monkey Hooks or similar picture-hanging hardware The individual printed sections were designed to fit within a 260 × 260 mm-class build area without scaling.

🖨️ PRINTING I recommend PETG for the final case because this is a functional wall-mounted object carrying actual watches. A reasonable starting point: 0.20 mm layer height 3–4 walls 15–25% infill Print the housing sections with the back against the build plate. Print the door-frame sections with the front face against the build plate. Do not scale the STL files if you're using the specified components. 🔧 BASIC ASSEMBLY Join the upper and lower housing sections using an appropriate strong adhesive or epoxy. Join the two door-frame sections. Cut and test-fit the acrylic panel before permanently securing it. Install the acrylic into the door frame. Attach the completed door using three hinges. Install 6 × 3 mm magnets in the modeled magnet locations for the magnetic closure. Add the 12 watch pillows and mount the completed enclosure securely to the wall.
