Sobre este modelo
Flying Saucer And Base Model - No AI used in the "Modeling" This model was designed and sized with the Snapmaker U1 in mind. But it should easily be scaled to fit another printer, as long as each part is scaled the same. The model consists of multiple parts that will need to be glued together: - Top
- Bottom
- Base (not necessary to glue)
- Alignment Pins
If your printing this on a "non Snapmaker Printer" and the colors don't transfer, most of the parts are separate and should be easy to color. I did paint a few areas (Windows). This model does lend itself to creativity of coloring. Because there are so many separate parts, it prints really consistent. Printing: SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE (A Slow Quality Setting) - An excellent bed adhesion is critical for a quality joint between the top and bottom.
- I used a 0.16mm layer, but with an "Adaptive Layer" Quality setting of .20 and a Smooth Radius of 5
- 3 walls (a must)
- "Precision Wall" Turned on (if you have it)
- 15 percent infill - I used Adaptive Cubic (it worked great)
- A traditional "Snug" support for the center of both top and bottom
- The base will print easily with Standard settings. But I chose an 75% infill for more weight and stability.
Enjoy!
