Flashforge Adventurer 5M / 5X - Top Glass Swivel Clips & Hole Plugs

A clean and practical solution to secure the top glass panel on the FlashForge Adventurer 5M / 5X.

When modifying the printer for a closed chamber to print high-temp materials (like ABS, ASA, or Nylon), keeping the top glass securely in place while allowing quick access is essential. These swivel clips let you lock the glass down securely during printing and simply rotate them outward whenever you need to open the top—no tools or screws required!

The project also includes custom hole plugs to neatly cover any remaining open holes on the top frame once your enclosure setup is complete, giving your printer a polished, factory-finished look.

⚙ Print Settings & Recommendations

To ensure durability against chamber heat and mechanical wear, I recommend the following settings: - Filament: PETG, ABS, or ASA strongly recommended (avoid standard PLA if you print high-temp materials, as chamber heat might cause warping). - Layer Height: 0.12, 0.18 ,0.20 mm. - Perimeters / Walls: 3 to 4 (for extra mechanical strength on the clips). - Infill: 25% - 40% (Grid or Gyroid) - Supports: None (Support-free design)
