Sobre este modelo

FITA is a display sculpture: a true-to-life human skull bound by a single golden ribbon. The ribbon rises from the base, wraps the skull in two floating loops, slips into the right eye socket and escapes through the crown in a last twist. It is one continuous band from start to finish, with no joins and no glued parts. WHAT YOU GET - 2-colour project: the skull and base in ivory, the ribbon in gold. One object with two parts, so it prints in one go on any AMS or dual-nozzle printer.

- 1-colour project: the same model in a single filament. Looks great in white, bone, marble or silk silver.

SIZE 127 x 166 x 222 mm (W x D x H). Fits any 256 mm class printer. PRINT SETTINGS (made and tested on a Bambu Lab X2D, 0.4 mm nozzle) - 0.16 mm layers, 3 walls, 12% gyroid infill

- Tree supports (auto), threshold 30 degrees. Supports print in the skull colour, so the gold filament is only used on the ribbon.

- 2-colour: about 23 h, 299 g ivory + 89 g gold

- 1-colour: about 14 h, 285 g

- PLA. Silk gold or a metallic PLA gives the ribbon its shine.

TIPS - Leave the supports under the jaw and the front loop. Remove them slowly with pliers: the ribbon is thin where it floats.

- A brim is set to auto. Keep it on if your bed is not freshly cleaned.

- Use a matte ivory or bone PLA for the skull to make the gold stand out.
