What it is

A test clip to try before you print the hook: done in a few minutes, it shows which size fits your surface.

This is the free fit gauge for every hook in the range that mounts on a flat tube towel radiator: 3 test clips, one per size step, each with its number raised on the face. Print the one you think fits (a few minutes), try it on your own surface, then pick the hook with the same number. Free, no strings attached.

Printing

PETG or ASA, 0.2 mm layers, 4 perimeters, 25 % infill. PLA works indoors but creeps under a steady load - do not use it for anything that hangs.

No supports. Every overhang was measured against 45 degrees in the orientation the file is saved in: 0.0 % of the surface stands steeper, which is nothing. Drop the file on the bed as it comes and print.

Tell me what you need

This range is generated from parametric code, not modelled by hand. A different size, angle, length or mounting foot is a parameter and a rebuild for me, not a new design. Message me here on Cults and you will usually have your variant within 2–5 days. The same goes for criticism: if something does not fit, tell me and I will correct it for everyone — buyers get the new file automatically.

Liability. These are workshop and household accessories, not parts for safety-critical use, for lifting, or for carrying people. What a printed part actually holds depends on material, wall count, infill, layer adhesion and the surface it is fixed to.
