The "Name the Whole Stack" Filament Storage Top Labels 🎯

A column of trays tells you nothing from across the room. These cap the stack with one wide, readable bar naming the material inside — so a whole column identifies itself at a glance instead of spool by spool.

🟩 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞

▸ 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗮 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻 — Sits on top of the highest tray in a stack and spans its full width, giving you one clear label per column instead of one per spool.

▸ 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 — Needs a CFS or AMS — The text is embedded in the face and printed face-down. Printing it in two colors needs a CFS, AMS or other multi-material unit. Start from the 3MF and the setup is already done.

▸ 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗧𝗟? 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁 — The STLs carry the lettering as real geometry, but color is not part of an STL. Select the part, open Paint in your slicer and color the text. Skip that and it slices in one color, which is why the text can look like it vanished.

▸ 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻 — Put the colored face on the build plate. It prints faster and wastes far less filament on purge.

▸ 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱 — PLA, PET-G, ASA and TPU, plus a blank bar and a custom-text version you can edit for anything not on the list.
