Just bought a whole batch of different coloured ABS and wanted to try out the various colours without using a full spool. Just anticipated that unraveling spools will be a nightmare so came up with this super simple clip to hold onto the filament. Didn't like the idea of tape or 'sliding it under'. The flat side is deliberately on the inside as I've found the spools I have have the inside smooth (makes sense) and the outside rim is thicker than the inside. www.madox.net
